A little more myself...

Well, for almost a week now I have been in a very low place, flare in my Lupus had held me in its grasp and my life has again been put on hold BUT today, although still in pain, exhausted and freezing cold (not matter how high the heating lol), I can actually say I feel a little bit more myself, able to think a little more more clearly (hence the fact that I am here) and hoping that this flare may be short lived...

Being able to self medicate, for me (I understand that this will not be the same for everyone), does pay off, as putting steroids up as soon as I started to feel poorly has helped. I may be wrong, and there may be other reasons, but whatever they are, I am thankful :)

Thank you all for your kindness, your responses to my last post I will respond to a little later on, but now again I must rest.

Best wishes to you all, I hope and pray that this reaches you well :) xx

I too self medicate and have found after ten years that just 1or 2 mg of pred can stop a flare.I am usually on a maintenance dose of 7.5 mg. stopping flares is essential to stop any damage. Hope you are feeling stronger.
